Week Three: Fighting the freeze…
Day 21 - The weather was very icy for three days which halted building on the site as the blocks and sand were frozen, but milder weather soon returned, and the bricklayers are really pushing on, and are busy completing the foundation walls, ready for concreting next week.
Our builder has ordered the ground floor wooden joists, and we're hoping to get lots more work completed before Christmas - fingers crossed!
